This is a very collectible calendar towel not only because it is 57 years old, but because it contains Currier and Ives artwork. The colors on this towel are fabulous. There is green, mauve and blue. The scene is a country farmhouse with a man and lady riding in a horse drawn sleigh with their Christmas tree in the back of the sleigh. Another man carrys firewood. Everything is covered with snow, and there is a stream running through the picture.

Towel is made of an ecru linen.
